"In 2021, residents of the special economic zone based in Pechatniki created more than 1.3 thousand jobs. Thus, this indicator increased by 2.4 times compared to 2020 and by 4.3 times compared to 2019. The positive dynamics is due to the comfortable conditions for doing business that have developed at the site," explained Gennady Degtev. The special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, subordinated to the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, includes five sites with a total area of 223 hectares. In addition to the site in Pechatniki, another four are located in Zelenograd - Alabushevo, Mikron, MIET and Angstrem. There are special support measures for SEZ residents. They are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes as well as customs duties. The profit tax rate for such enterprises is only two percent. There are also benefits for the lease of land, allocated for the construction of the enterprise, and upon completion of the construction there is an opportunity to buy the leased land for one percent of the cadastral value.
