Innovative solutions of SEZ Technopolis Moscow presented at the world conference of science parks IASP

On December 1-3, a World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation - IASP World Conference was held, where the enterprise of the special economic zone of Moscow - VDK company presented solutions to combat the pandemic and the experience of their implementation as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Conferences of IASP, which brings together technology communities of more than 70 countries, are an effective platform for dialogue and promotion of innovations at the international level. It is important that SEZ Technopolis Moscow entrepreneurs willingly share their developments and experience in the Moscow special economic zone on international platforms. The VDK project clearly demonstrates an example of successful interaction between technology enterprises, operators of innovation communities and city authorities. So, during the period of temporary restrictions, the company managed to develop and launch the production of disinfectants for the treatment of housing and public utilities in the shortest possible time”, said Gennady Degtev. According to Sergey Shagalov, Development Director of VDK in Spring, when restrictive measures were introduced in Moscow, the city authorities and the management company of SEZ Technopolis Moscow helped the company to find out what solutions the city needed most. “It turned out that there is a catastrophic shortage of disinfectant solutions for the treatment of housing and public utilities, the demand for them has sharply increased to hundreds of tons per week, but the capacity of traditional plants was not enough. Since our company has accumulated extensive experience in the field of water treatment, we were able to establish the production of disinfectants and equip consumers with mobile systems for preparing such a solution on the spot. So, within a month, a reliable and fully automated industrial technology was developed and implemented for the production of an effective, chemically pure disinfectant based on chlorine dioxide.
