In Moscow SEZ start produce semiconductors for microwave electronics

Design-center «Analog Solutions» became the resident of special economic zone «Technopolis "Moscow"». The company organizes manufacturing of semiconductor elements for modern electronic equipment and household appliances at the platform «Angstrem» SEZ in Zelenograd. This was announced by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is the part of the Complex of Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. «Of the 90 residents of the special economic zone of the capital, more than a third – 33 companies – develop the electronic industry. Recently this list was added to the enterprise, which specializes in the development and production of crystals and transistors. Such products as part of modern electronic equipment and household appliances ensure their reliability and speed of operation. The company will invest more than 70 million rubles in the construction of a plant, where about two dozen specialists can work», - told Vladislav Ovchinsky. The design-center makes semiconductor products, including crystals for microwave and RF diodes, high-speed transistors and diode matrices. They are effective in radio and meteolization, as well as in use at ultra-high frequencies, on which the well-known GLONASS, GPS, GSM systems operate. The company is focused on reducing the dependence of the Russian industry on the import of semiconductors and can become one of the key enterprises located on the Zelenograd site «Angstrem» SEZ of the capital. In the future, it plans to start assembling functional devices based on its crystals. «Among the advantages that led the company to obtain the status of a resident of the SEZ of Moscow are modern infrastructure and convenient logistics of its sites, as well as a wide potential of industrial cooperation and economic preferences available to all residents. In this way, they are exempt from taxes on property, transport and land.
