In 2022 the resident of a SEZ Technopolis Moscow delivered more than 125 thousand packages of medicines to the city

The company – a resident of a special economic zone Technopolis Moscow as part of an offset contract in the first quarter of 2022 has released more than 125 thousand packages of medicines for the needs of the city. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. "Moscow signed the first offset contract in 2017. According to it, an investor built the plant for production of medicines on the territory of the capital's special economic zone in Zelenograd, and deliveries of medication began last year. Today, the company produces medicines for the treatment of oncological, autoimmune and a number of other diseases. In the first three months of this year, more than 125 thousand packages of products were delivered to medical institutions of the capital"- noted Vice-Mayor. Last year, the company Biocad produced about 290 thousand packages of finished products with a total value of more than 1.5 billion rubles. "According to the agreement, the company will supply more than 30 medicines for the treatment of socially significant diseases for almost seven years. As a result, Moscow will buy the manufacturer's medicines for 14 billion rubles"- added the Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of  Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky. Biocad also plans to launch the production of other products at the production site in Technopolis Moscow. Updated licenses for the production of liquid medical forms for immunobiological, biological and chemical preparations have already been obtained. The company has already invested more than 4.7 billion rubles in the project on the territory of the capital's special economic zone. As a resident, it enjoys tax and property benefits. More than 150 workplaces have been created in high-tech production. As Anastasia Rakova, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for social development previously reported, about 85 thousand packages of various medicines in the amount of about 600 million rubles were delivered to medical organizations of the Moscow department of health in the first quarter of 2022 under offset contracts.
