In 2021, the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will launch the production of equipment for ropeways
The industrial site of RT-Bartolet, a subsidiary of the Swiss ropeways manufacturer Bartholet Maschinenbau AG and the State Corporation Rostec is planned to be launched in the fall of 2021. Innovative production will be localized in Pechatniki on an area of more than four thousand square meters as informed by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. “The RT-Bartolet company has signed an agreement with the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow on the lease of production areas. An innovative production of rope-transport systems using Swiss technology will be localized in the capital's SEZ. The work on the premises arrangement is supposed to be completed already in May”, pointed out the Vice-Mayor. He added that the investment project in Pechatniki is being implemented under a concession agreement between the Moscow government and the Swiss company Bartholet Maschinenbau AG, signed in 2019. The enterprise will produce components for the construction of a cable road in Moscow over the Khimki reservoir between the Skhodnenskaya and Rechnoy Vokzal metro stations. “The new type of transport will be launched in 2023. The construction of the road will be carried out by a consortium that won the tender for the right to conclude a concession agreement and has already proven itself in the project of a cable road on Vorobyovy Gory. It includes Moscow Ropeway LLC and the Swiss ropeway manufacturer Bartholet, a leading international producer of the equipment for ropeway systems, theme parks, mechanical engineering and lighting systems”, revealed Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The manufactured products will be geared toward the Russian market and for export. The enterprise plans to achieve 51% localization of production on the territory of the Russian Federation. “The company is currently importing modern equipment to ensure technology transfer and the highest Swiss quality standards. Along with the production line there will be personnel training in the management, repair and maintenance of rope-transport systems. A two-week training course can be simultaneously attended by up to 30 specialists”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Shortly the company plans to obtain the status of a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, which entitles it to substantial incentives. According to the company's experts, the Bartholet Rope Taxi technology, developed for the urban environment, has revolutionized the ropeway industry. Its feature is the possibility of autonomous movement of the cab, driven by an electric motor. This opens up new opportunities for the movement of passengers in a dense urban environment. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
