Imports of high-tech products to the special economic zone of Moscow increased

In the last two months Moscow enterprises of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow have raised the number of supplies of high-tech medical goods from Europe, the USA and Asia, some companies of SEZ have almost doubled the volume of import, declared Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow. For instance the company Chirana+ a producer of medical equipment has increased the supplies of components 1.5 fold and by the end of May will deliver to hospitals and infectious centers 62 units of completed medical apparatus assembled on the territory of Technopolis. As compared to the previous year the company Farmstandard – Medtechnica has almost doubled import and in the first five months of this year has supplied 42 units of sterilization and disinfection equipment. For tax-free entry of their commodities the enterprises use scientific – innovative Moscow customs post of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. “Among the shipments received by the innovative customs post are materials for the production of medical and disinfection means, laboratory and diagnostics reagents, medical components, devices and equipment“, specified Alexander Prokhorov. Any participant of foreign trade can take advantage of the services of the scientific-innovative customs post. “The simplified entry of commodities provides for speed supplies of necessary expendable materials to the capital city, including those for the fight against coronavirus spread”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. For example the labware is imported this way for further transportation of nutrients for reagents. These reagents are applied to create the vaccine against COVID-19 infection which is now being developed by the Company “PanEco” LLC.
