For three quarters of 2022, the revenue of residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow increased by one and a half times

The revenue of companies that are residents of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone grew by almost 60 percent in the first nine months of 2022. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. “In the nine months of 2022, the revenue of companies that are residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow exceeded 31 billion rubles. This is 58 percent more than in the same period in 2021, when revenue amounted to 19.6 billion rubles. At the same time, according to the results of the second quarter of 2022, the companies earned 17 billion rubles, that is, in the third quarter they almost doubled this amount,” said the deputy mayor. Companies in the microelectronics, optics, robotics and industrial automation industries showed rapid revenue growth, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. According to him, such indicators are associated with the constantly growing demand for the products of Moscow companies, with the rapid emergence of import-substituting products and the expansion of production sites. “During the nine months of this year, microelectronics manufacturers located at the sites of the capital's SEZ earned more than 12 billion rubles. Let me remind you that in the first half of 2022, the revenue of residents of this industry amounted to 5.5 billion rubles,” the head of the department noted. In second place in terms of revenue for the third quarter are manufacturers of medical equipment and biopharmaceuticals, which earned more than 10 billion rubles. The top three also included information and communication companies. Their total revenue exceeded four billion rubles. “In general, for the entire period of residence in the special economic zone of Moscow, since the beginning of their activities, resident companies have earned more than 163 billion rubles. Compared to the same period last year, when enterprises received 125 billion rubles, the growth rate remained unchanged. They again amounted to more than 30 percent,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow are exempt from paying land, property, transport taxes and customs duties, and the income tax rate for them is reduced to two percent. They also have privileges for renting land allocated for the construction of an enterprise, and upon its completion, they are given the opportunity to buy out a leased land plot for one percent of its cadastral value. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
