Engines for domestic electric cars are produced in SEZ Technopolis Moscow

The Scientific and Technical Center Privodnaya Tekhnika operating in the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, has signed a contract for the supply of a batch of one hundred electric drives to an electric car manufacturer near Moscow. These engines are capable of replacing foreign analogues. This was announced by Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow, Vladislav Ovchinsky. "The manufacturer of electric drive equipment will produce and transfer 100 engines to a domestic company engaged in the production of electric vehicles of a wide profile. On the basis of modern products, the enterprises are already producing golf carts and utility vehicles that are operated on the territory of the SEZ of Moscow and the capital's recreation areas," said Vladislav Ovchinsky. Electric drives of the EDM line can be used in transport for various purposes. Thanks to efficient cooling, a high degree of moisture and dust protection, the engines operate under any operating conditions. In addition, the high power of electric drives with small dimensions, as well as high torque, allows them to successfully compete with foreign counterparts, including from Europe and Asia. "This will be the second batch for Privodnaya Tekhnika. Its volume will more than double the previous one. The first issue - 40 units - was sent to the manufacturer of electric cars in June of this year.
