Electronics manufacturer from SEZ Technopolis Moscow has mastered the production of electric scooters

Production with a capacity of about 1000 electric scooters per year has been launched by a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow - the plant "PROTON" as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow “An electronics manufacturer located at one of the Zelenograd sites of the Moscow SEZ supported the trend of environmentally friendly transport in Russia. The designers of the PROTON plant have developed their own model of an electric scooter with increased reliability and intended for use in kicksharing services. At the existing facilities, the resident has organized production of about 1000 scooters per year. Investments in the project amounted to more than 20 million rubles”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov. As the PROTON plant explained, the designers of the enterprise have provided a number of innovations in their model of the electric scooter, which create additional convenience for users and facilitate the maintenance of the device. This scooter is easier to handle - large wheels and a welded frame without bolted connections eliminate the mistakes of beginners. In addition, the device is safer compared to analogues: a specialized base used by professional skateboarders gives the maximum possible grip of the shoe to the scooter platform in any weather. The quick-detachable battery and the generally convenient layout of the scooter allow you to quickly disassemble and assemble the elements, saving time during maintenance. The scooter can travel up to 40 kilometers on a single charge, the charging time takes about 4-5 hours. The device itself weighs 27 kg and can support up to 220 kg. The manufacturer warns about the need to comply with the speed limit - no more than 25 km/h. The development of new types of environmentally friendly transport is given great attention in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow underlined Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The capital's SEZ hosts the production of lithium-ion batteries for warehouse transport as well as the manufacturing of electric trucks and components for electric buses.
