COMPOSITE PARTS DESIGNED IN SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW ARE INSTALLED ON ONE OF THE LONGEST BRIDGES IN RUSSIA
A resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, the Nanotechnological Center of Composites (NCC), installed more than 700 meters of composite railings on the Presidential Bridge over the Volga River in the Ulyanovsk Region as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The Presidential Bridge in the Ulyanovsk Region is a combined metal two-tiered beam bridge that connects the right and left bank parts of Ulyanovsk. It is one of the five longest bridges in the Russian Federation, its length is 5825 meters. “During the construction of the left-bank junction of the Presidential Bridge in Ulyanovsk, composite railings were installed by the resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. The length of the fences and composite staircases has exceeded 700 meters. Participation in the construction of one of the longest bridges in Russia has been added to the list of the company's achievements, including hundreds of projects for the supply of railings throughout the Russian Federation from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Kaliningrad” pointed out Alexander Prokhorov. The Nanotechnology Center for Composites (NCC) represents a cluster of modern materials and nanotechnologies of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “At the site of the capital's special economic zone, the company is developing and producing composite items for road construction, production of unmanned vehicles, cars, and urban transport. In addition to numerous projects in Russia, NCC is the leading exporter of SEZ Technopolis Moscow with deliveries worth more than RUB 100 million in 2020. Resident status allows the manufacturer to significantly save on tax fees and other payments and invest additional funds into inventions”, added Gennady Degtev. According to Yevgeniy Rafailov, Head of Sales at NCC, the Presidential Bridge is the most important infrastructure project for Ulyanovsk with a number of innovative technologies applied during its implementation. He explained that composite railings on bridge structures and overpasses replace the metal ones. They have low weight, corrosion resistance, durability and ease of replacement of structural elements, and virtually no maintenance costs. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
