Company from SEZ Technopolis Moscow will increase production of equipment for oil refining more than in two times

VDK company from the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow will increase the production of oil purification systems of its own design more than twice within the framework of import substitution of foreign products. This was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, a part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital. VDK is a research and production company that specializes in creating and manufacturing apparatuses for the petrochemical and manufacturing industries and water treatment systems. The original development of the company's specialists is an automated system for desalting and dehydrating oil. «At the moment the company produces about 20 sets of oil purification systems per year and supplies them to almost all major oil and gas plants of Russia, including Rosneft, Gazprom and Transneft. Now the company is preparing to increase the production up to 50 kits per year. Until recently the leaders in production of such equipment in the country were foreign companies, but domestic scientists and engineers have proved that their technical solutions successfully compete with the leading world analogues», – said Vladislav Ovchinsky. As developers of the equipment explained, oil from the well has a lot of impurities, including water and mineral salts, which have a negative impact on fuel delivery systems from the well to refineries. To extract these components, various chemical additives are added to the produced liquid to absorb and remove the «extra» substances. This treatment process is complex and requires continuous monitoring of the oil composition and the amount of additives required, as well as a rational mix of additives and oil. VDK's new systems allow the necessary chemical additives to be added to the crude oil for cleaning automatically, with a precise calculation of the required volume. This equipment can be used not only in oil production, but also wherever it is necessary to mix liquids with some additives, such as in water treatment systems. The automated oil desalting and dehydration system is fully manufactured at the company's facility, which is localized in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. «The convenient logistics and developed infrastructure of the Moscow Special Economic Zone contribute to the development of enterprises, attracting investments and increasing companies' revenues. This encourages organizations to redirect funds to increase their production capacities. Today VDK, located on the Pechatniki site, employs about 30 people.
