Cluster approach to industrial development in SEZ Technopolis Moscow
Three clusters created in 2022 are rapidly developing on the territory of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. They not only provide industry synergies, but also increase the competitiveness of companies and give them an impetus for further development. This was stated by the general director of SEZ Gennady Dyogtev during the thematic round table at the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). "The capital actively supports the development of high-tech industries in the cluster format. Last year the Moscow cluster of electric cars was formed, which includes 46 participants, including 30 enterprises of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Now four innovative projects in the areas of electric motors and energy storage sources are being implemented on its basis. In addition, the Moscow Cluster of Photonics and Microelectronics was created, which included more than 20 companies of the capital's special economic zone. The flagship project of the cluster will be the development and production of technologies that will increase the speed of data processing and transmission by 50-100 times," - said Gennady Dyogtev. In 2022 microelectronics enterprises of Moscow SEZ became leaders in terms of revenues. Five resident companies of the cluster sold their products for 16.6 billion rubles, which amounted to almost a third of the total revenue of Technopolis Moscow SEZ residents last year. One of the advantages of the cluster is the possibility to integrate with the industrial infrastructure - engineering centers, testing laboratories, certification centers and educational institutions. As part of such networking, many issues are solved, including personnel training. On the basis of the Moscow State Educational Complex, located at the Pechatniki site, a chair of Technopolis. Personnel Reserve, thanks to which the number of internships and practices for students at SEZ enterprises in the capital has increased significantly in recent years. The National Research University MIET which also trains specialists for the Moscow SEZ microelectronics cluster has opened an Interdepartmental Examination Center where the knowledge level of the graduates will be determined in order to adjust the educational programs to the employers' demands. In the near future, the training center will open in Rudnevo, where a cluster of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) is being formed, which already includes nine enterprises. In order to provide the industry with new personnel and new promising developments, the Bauman Moscow State Technical University Center of Competences for UAS started its work in Rudnevo, which will participate in the formation and implementation of effective technological and human resources policy in the field of unmanned aviation. ___________________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
