“Shakhty” Ltd., one of the companies of the special economic zone initiates to use the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) technologies for remote monitoring. A volunteer noncommercial union LizaAlert was the first receptive to the offer, as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Shakhty” Ltd. has offered advanced solutions for the remote monitoring of the environment within the project “Air volunteer”. For now the company is going to assist in the search of missing people on a free-of-charge basis. Yet the remote monitoring with UAV, the information collection and analysis with the help of artificial intelligence can also convey the situation in the streets and monitor the environment”, specified Gennady Degtev. In the context of tightened security the monitoring is allowed to be exercised only by one person who has special camera pass. There is no need in additional contacts with people. For the big data neural network processing can be used. The companies of the capital city special economic zone offer more and more solutions likely to become useful not only in the fight against COVID-19 spread but can also make self-isolation easier. “The companies of special economic zone approach the current situation responsibly and try to support the city adjusting their products. For example the company COEX has prepared several services for touchless delivery of food and logistics”, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow added. These days the company is developing automated parcel terminals or drop-points. The quadcopter “COEX Pelican” can deliver parcels in a totally automated regime and a person collects it any time he or she wants.  According to Oleg Panfilenok, CEO of COEX the copters are able to provide a person in self-isolation with food, protection means, necessary everyday items with minimum contacts between people which is crucial in the current situation. The company developers say this is a really promising technology. The delivery price for one parcel is not more than 100 Rubles – by several folds lower than today’s charges of delivery services. Another advantage of the new technology is its fast growth and independence from the human factor.
