Another data center has been launched in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

The largest Russian hosting provider and domain registrar has put into operation a data processing center on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. In total, five data centers are already operating in the capital's special economic zone. “There are five data processing centers (DPC) in the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. Two of them, GreenBush DC and IMT, are located at the Alabushevo site - one of the largest data centers in Russia. The total investment of these companies exceeds 9 billion rubles, and they also created more than 200 jobs. Data centers support the operation of microelectronic enterprises, cloud providers and public sector companies. Three more data centers are located in Pechatniki. The latter was launched by Russia's largest hosting provider and domain registrar at the end of last year. The new data center is designed to serve about 2.5 thousand clients”, said Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow the new DPC is the first owned data center of the REG.RU company. “The data center occupies an area of 600 square meters at the site in Pechatniki and is designed for 168 server racks. The infrastructure elements have the Tier-III level of reliability which guarantees the uninterrupted operation of the facility. The modern data center was built on the basis of the previously existing facility of the Relcom Data company. The new owner revived it and put it into operation in less than a year. The data center is located in the special economic zone of the capital under the retained legal entity Relcom Data LLC”, he added. The data center is located in a closed area with access control. The premises are equipped with burglar alarms, access control systems and video surveillance. The data center has a round-the-clock duty. Among the clients of the data center are Sber, Renault, 1CBIT, Robokassa.  This site provides services for renting dedicated servers and colocation. The data center is supplied with electricity from two independent city inputs and two diesel generator sets. The elements of the power supply system are also reserved at the 2N level. The supplied power is 1.5 MW. The cooling system is based on freon air conditioners. A 24-hour monitoring system in real time controls all parameters of the data center to reduce the risk of emergencies: from the availability and quality of power at the inputs to power at each rack.
