A Russian manufacturer of medicines for animals will open a new large enterprise on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The plant will produce several types of safe vaccines and related products for pets and farm animals. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. “This year the company will start producing vaccines, sera and test systems for animals. They will help provide the market with the necessary goods and solve the problem of import substitution of medicines for veterinary use. In addition to this plant, at least 10 new production facilities will open in the territories of the capital's SEZ in 2022: medicines, medical devices, microelectronics, measuring equipment, cable transport systems. The volume of investors' investments in these projects will amount to more than 10 billion rubles,” said Vice-Mayor. The vaccine manufacturing facility is designed and built to GMP standards. It is the leading international standard for pharmaceutical companies. It includes strict requirements for the production and quality of products. This, for example, is the presence of specialized "clean rooms", highly qualified personnel and modern industrial equipment at the enterprise. The capacity of the new plant is designed to produce several tens of millions of doses of vaccines per year. “The enterprise is equipped with modern equipment, the latest technologies are used at all stages of production. The total area of the workshops will be about 6.5 thousand m?, of which four thousand are reserved for "clean rooms". It is planned to produce over forty different types of vaccine preparations,” said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The company, which opens a new production of vaccines, was founded more than 15 years ago. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, it specializes in products for agricultural and domestic animals: immunoprophylactic drugs, diagnostics and treatment of infectious and parasitic diseases. More than 30 candidates of biological and veterinary sciences, scientists with the title of doctor of science and professor work in the staff of the science-intensive enterprise. The company's products are registered in Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine. Also, a veterinary and pharmacological plant "BinoMedVetService" will appear in the city in the near future.
