An analogue of imported navigation systems was developed by the Laboratory of Microdevices company from the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. This was announced by the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the Capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. Microinstrument Laboratory from the Moscow SEZ has updated its line of navigation systems and introduced a new development - a universal inertial module. A company can produce hundreds of such modules in one year. They are cheaper by 30-40 percent compared to foreign counterparts and are applicable in a variety of devices for control, navigation and communication, for example, in unmanned aircraft and motor vehicles,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. "Laboratory of Microinstruments" creates modules that allow you to more accurately analyze the surrounding space, calculate coordinates and plot the most correct course. For example, such technologies are needed when searching for missing satellite signals or in setting up the correct operation of unmanned vehicles, satellite dishes, and even in geodesy. In the process, the system measures and outputs the values ??of angular velocity, acceleration and magnetic field along three axes, and also has a built-in absolute pressure sensor. The updated version of the module does not have a housing, due to which it is more ergonomic, takes up less space without losing functionality. Since 2016, the Laboratory of Microdevices company has been located at the MIET site of the capital's special economic zone, where it is part of the microelectronics cluster. The enterprise produces about 2,000 units of high-tech micromechanics per year, thanks in part to the preferences and conditions created in the SEZ. The arsenal includes not only inertial modules, but also gyroscopes, impact and rotation sensors, and other innovative products,” said Gennady Degtev, Director General of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ Gennady Degtev. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Email: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram -channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
