The company EV MANUFACTURING RUS took advantage of the customs preferences that it received due to the status of a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. At its industrial site in Pechatniki, the company organized a customs control zone. This was announced by the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, Vladislav Ovchinsky. "The manufacturer of electric trucks will become one of the first ten residents to organize a customs control zone in SEZ Technopolis Moscow. For resident companies, zero rates of customs duties and VAT apply when importing equipment, special equipment, components and raw materials. Last year, five residents of the capital's SEZ opened such zones and received a tax benefit of 143 million rubles. This year, four more residents took advantage of the preference," Vladislav Ovchinsky said. The scientific and Innovative customs post of the Moscow Regional Customs inspected the facility and confirmed its compliance with the established requirements. The customs control Zone of EV MANUFACTURING RUS occupies more than 800 square meters. It is equipped in two workshops – electrical engineering and metalworking workshop. These production complexes have main and emergency exits equipped with access control and alarm information systems, artificial and emergency lighting, a video surveillance system, broadcast from which is output to the customs authority, as well as ventilation, fire extinguishing, and warning systems. The customs control Zone also has a special fence that excludes uncontrolled access to the goods placed inside it. "The management company of SEZ of Moscow provides advisory and organizational support to enterprises planning to use the free customs zone. Residents are explained the requirements of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, help to form a package of documents and get permission to apply benefits. The standard period for its issuance from the moment of filing an application is no more than four months," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. After obtaining permission to apply the procedure of a free customs zone, the company will receive an order from the Federal Customs service on the possibility of applying a preferential customs procedure on the territory of the SEZ. This will reduce the costs of importing high-tech equipment and reduce the cost of an electric cargo vehicle. "The production of electric trucks is focused on the maximum use of Russian raw materials and components. But for the complete set of production lines, imported equipment is partially required. In total, about 30 pieces of equipment will be installed, including welding, turning, milling machines, including multi-axis high-tech metalworking machines, laser cutting units and electric motor production sites. Also in the electrical shop there will be a line for the installation of electrical circuit boards. Zero duty and VAT rates will reduce equipment costs by about a third. The estimated savings will amount to about 150 million rubles," said Ilya Rashkin, General Director of EV MANUFACTURING RUS. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
