The construction of a plant for the production of electronic measuring devices has been completed at the Alabushevo site of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. "The company Termiko has received permission to put into operation an administrative and production building for the development and production of temperature measuring instruments at the Zelenograd site Alabushevo of the special economic zone of the capital. Investors have invested over 154 million rubles in the new enterprise. The raw materials and materials from which the measuring instruments will be made are completely Russian," said Vladimir Efimov. Termiko is one of the leading manufacturers of technical means of temperature measurement in Russia. The company continues the Soviet scientific traditions, it was founded by leading employees of the NGO All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Physical, Technical and Radio Measurements. Today, the company is constantly conducting research and design work, creating unique devices and sensors for measuring temperature, including for working as part of commercial heat metering devices and improving energy efficiency in the housing and communal services sector. "The Termiko company has been a resident of the special economic zone of the capital since 2014 and supplies thermometers for the needs of the housing and communal services of Moscow. The area of the new plant for the production of precision measuring instruments will be more than 2.4 thousand square meters. Thanks to this enterprise, 90 new jobs will be created in the city," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. Today, the company produces more than 30 types of temperature measuring instruments. The company has also created its own accredited metrological service with the necessary number of standards, premises and regulatory documents. "Alabushevo is the largest of the territories of the capital's special economic zone, it occupies almost 160 hectares. Today, the site is developing dynamically, 55 enterprises are localized there, 29 of them have the status of a SEZ resident Technopolis Moscow. These are production facilities specializing in the production of microelectronics, optics, robotics and industrial automation, medical equipment, biopharmaceuticals, modern materials and energy–efficient technologies," said Gennady Degtev, General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ. Residents of the special economic zone are entitled to significant benefits. Companies are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes for 10 years. The income tax rate for them is only two percent. Residents can also rent land at a reduced rate.
