A new production of medical tests will open in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ in 2022

A new production of medical test systems and a research laboratory will be opened at Alabushevo site of SEZ  Technopolis Moscow in the spring of 2022. Now the company is carrying out the final work on preparing the premises and importing equipment. There will be 200 workplaces here. Medical test systems that will be produced at the enterprise are focused on the market of Moscow and the regions. Part of the production is planned to be exported. “The company will produce medical tests designed to detect a large number of infections and abnormalities in human health. Including 15 types of test systems for the presence of COVID-19. It is planned that the enterprise will produce about 12 million units of products per month,” said Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. The total area of ??the new enterprise is 2.5 thousand m?. Half of the territory is occupied by "clean rooms" with a laboratory, a production site for research, development and testing. The second half was assigned for labeling and packaging of finished products and auxiliary work. “Currently, the “clean rooms” are being equipped. According to the company's estimate, the amount of investment in production equipment will be at least 400 million rubles,” said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The Imbian Lab company, which is opening a new production facility in Alabushevo, was founded three years ago in the science city of Koltsovo, Novosibirsk Region. It specializes in the production of medical diagnostic kits and the development of new tests. The company recently received a patent for a test system based on immunochips that solves the problems of early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of many infectious diseases. The localization of production in the special economic zone of the capital will become a new stage of development for the company. “The enterprise aims to obtain the status of a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, which will open access to tax and customs preferences.
