A new plant for printed circuit boards and electronic modules has been built in SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The high-tech enterprise will complement the large microelectronics cluster created in the SEZ. It is planned that the plant will open in 2022, said Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. The new complex in SEZ Technopolis Moscow will be occupied by one of the largest manufacturers of printed circuit boards in Russia - the company Rezonit [ https://www.rezonit.ru/ ] . A printed circuit board is the basis of any electronic product, be it a computer, a mobile phone or a household appliance; it is a dielectric plate, on the surface of which there are electrically conductive circuits of an electronic circuit. One of the leaders in the manufacture of printed circuit boards has several factories in Russia, and now decided to settle in the capital's special economic zone in order to expand high-tech production. The opening of a new plant of the resident Digital Security Technologies LLC, which represented the Rezonit company on the territory of the SEZ, will allow the company to significantly expand its capacity. “On the territory of the SEZ, the enterprise will be able to increase the volume of production by one and a half times. According to preliminary calculations of specialists, the plant will produce more than six million square decimeters of boards annually. They can be used in a wide variety of industries such as telecommunications, automotive, medicine, LED technology and consumer electronics. Investments in the project will exceed one billion rubles,”said Vladimir Efimov. The production complex was built on Alabushevo site. Its total area is about 15 thousand square meters. At the moment, fire alarm and video surveillance systems are being installed in the building. «SEZ Technopolis Moscow has a large microelectronics cluster, which includes over 30 resident companies that make chips, microcircuits, semiconductor products and much more. Their total investment in the cluster is over 22 billion rubles. The new PCB plant will strengthen the SEZ cluster. In addition, it will create about a hundred additional jobs, including for highly qualified employees,”said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. When purchasing equipment, the resident company, according to its general director Andrey Marinych, plans to consider programs of concessional lending as part of initiatives to support and develop industry. Also, according to him, with the plant reaching full capacity, the company expects to exceed the original plans for investments and the number of jobs several times. “The company chose the site in the special economic zone not by chance - the most favorable conditions for the development of high-tech products have been created here. Entrepreneurs are provided with land at a preferential rental rate and profit tax incentives, supply the necessary engineering communications, exempt from VAT when importing equipment and offer other support measures from the city,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
