A new pharmaceutical plant will be built in Moscow for 5.8 billion rubles

R-Opra, a tenant of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, a producer of drugs places its production in Moscow within the second offset contract. The construction of the plant has been launched this year, informed Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations. “The implementation of the offset contract will result in one more advanced innovative import-substituting production. The company will manufacture the demanded drugs most of which are not produced in Russia now. More than 30 types of drugs including cancer drugs, antipsychotic, antirheumatic and antiasthmatic medicine will be supplied to medical centers of Moscow, regional hospitals and chemistries, underlined Vice-Mayor. Deputy Mayor also specified that the plant will start work in 2023. Within the offset contract the company will produce drugs for the amount of 18.4 billion Rubles in 7 years. The new plant will appear in SEZ Technopolis Moscow in Alabushevo site. The manufacturing and office buildings, engineering facilities and warehouses will be built on the territory of 4.5 ha. Total area of the construction will amount to 30 thousand square meters. “The pharmaceutical sector is one of the development focuses in Alabushevo which already locates four producers of drugs and medical units” added Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow. “At the moment we have obtained necessary permissions and got down to the works on the construction site.
