A corporate donor day will be held at the Alabushevo site of SEZ Technopolis Moscow

A resident of the Moscow Special Economic Zone, the PK-137 pharmaceutical complex of the biotechnology company Biocad, will for the first time hold a donor day on the territory of the Alabushevo site. The action will take place on November 22. Employees of the enterprise itself and other resident companies will be able to take part in it. This was announced by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The resident of the metropolitan SEZ has been holding donation days since 2013. This autumn, the traditional Biocad campaign will be held for the first time at the site of the PK-137 production complex, which is located at the Alabushevo site. The company invites employees of offices and enterprises located in the same territory to participate. I am sure that this opportunity will find a wide response, and such an initiative will become a regular on our sites,” added Gennady Degtev. Biocad Donor Day is held at the company's offices and production sites in St. Petersburg and Moscow from 8 to 24 November. This year the campaign is supported by the Leukemia Foundation. The invitation to participate in the donor day of employees of resident companies of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow is part of the joint work of Biocad and the Fund to promote donation. Registration of participants is available at the link. “Participants of the corporate day of the Biocad donor will have the opportunity to donate not only whole blood, but also one standard tube of blood to enter the register of potential bone marrow donors. According to a study conducted by our company together with the Leukemia Foundation, 70% of Russians have heard of the existence of such registers, but only 12% of those surveyed are members of them. Among the main concerns of citizens is the fear that bone marrow donation can harm their own health. To dispel such fears, we have prepared a special edition of the video podcast, in which the recipient and the bone marrow donor took part. The heroes shared their own experiences and told what myths about donation should not be believed,” says Irina Kenyukhova, director of the Biocad corporate marketing department. The resident of the Moscow SEZ regularly conducts various social projects for employees.
