A company from the SEZ Technopolis Moscow expands the range of products for a healthy diet

ACADEMIA-T company, the producer of sports and medical nutrition will launch an updated production line in SEZ Technopolis Moscow in mid-March. Investments in optimization and re-equipment of working areas will amount to 20 million rubles. This will provide for the production of five new types of products already in 2021 as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The updated line for the liquid forms production will help the company expand its product range with gels and functional drinks. “In the capital's special economic zone, companies producing various goods for a healthy lifestyle are widely represented. Today this cluster is in the development focus of the SEZ: companies offer their own innovative developments and systematically expand their capacities. A similar approach distinguishes the manufacturer of sports nutrition ACADEMIA-T: the company has already received 10 patents for inventions, and the investments in its own production since its inception have exceeded 80 million rubles”, said Alexander Prokhorov. ACADEMIA-T traces its history since 1994, working in the special economic zone of the capital since 2015. “Currently, the company produces about 70 sports and special nutrition products in the form of capsules, tablets and powders. The company employs 50 employees, including five PhDs, under the leadership of the laureate of the State Prize, Professor Enver Tokayev”, revealed Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
