A batch of lithium-ion batteries will leave the Technopolis Moscow SEZ for the first time in Colombia

A resident of the special economic zone, ENSOL company sends a batch of batteries to Colombia as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. “The company has already prepared lithium-ion batteries for shipment to Colombia. This is the first experience of exporting products of the company focusing on energy efficient solutions to this South American country. The company is constantly expanding the geography of supplies, about 30 percent of its revenue is provided by sales abroad. In the first six months of 2021, export volumes amounted to more than 40 million rubles”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov. ENSOL rechargeable batteries are used in devices with an electric type of engine - loaders, reach trucks, stackers, electric trucks, cleaning and other industrial equipment. The service life of such batteries is two to three times longer than that of traditional lead acid batteries. ENSOL Company became a resident of the Moscow special economic zone in October 2020 reminded Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Resident status allows the manufacturer to effectively implement business tasks and work on innovative solutions in the field of energy efficient technologies. During this period, the company has covered about 15 export directions, supplying products abroad for an amount of almost 380 million rubles. The company plans to expand production areas in the territory of the special economic zone”, said Gennady Degtev.
