10 thousand thermal imagers will be manufactured by a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow

A resident company of special economic zone Technopolis Moscow – R&D enterprise “Alexander”, part of company group MacroOptica will manufacture ten thousand infrared scanners for touchless temperature control for employees of the capital city enterprises as reported by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow.  “Today many factories in Moscow respond to the consumer demands and have arranged the production of goods necessary for pandemic fight. For example one the leaders in optoelectronic instrument-making located in Technopolis has rapidly shifted its production to provide the capital city companies with the equipment for touchless temperature control. Besides these medical apparatus contribute to import substitution” said Alexander Prokhorov. The equipment developed by the tenant is different from its analogues on the market, pointed out Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The developers have managed to create the equipment using only Russian compartments. It is smaller in size and has additional options. For example if the temperature of an employee is high the apparatus gives a signal and the entrance to a building closes automatically sending information to the control desk”, underlined Gennady Degtev. The thermography complex Macro-1 was developed in the design bureau of the company, said Vyacheslav Semenov, Executive Director of the R&D company “Alexander”. The way from the design to the batch manufacturing took about two months. The equipment was tested at one of the regional railway stations. Today the first batch of 20 units has already been ordered. The R&D company “Alexander” is one of the leading Russian producers of optical components, optical mechanic hubs and optical electronic system for science, devices for civil and medical application.
