The fifth part of investments in the manufacturing industry of the capital came from the Moscow SEZ

The volume of investments of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow residents in 2022 was one-fifth of the investment of the capital manufacturing industry. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.

"At the end of last year, almost 20 percent of investment in the fixed capital of the manufacturing industry of the city was accounted for by the residents of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. They also created almost two thousand jobs, which is 40 percent more than in 2021. Every year in the city there are more and more compact and modern factories, making competitive products and products with a high intellectual component," - said Vladimir Yefimov.

Every year 10-15 production facilities are localized in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Today more than 200 enterprises are localized on the territory of the special economic zone, 90 of them have the status of a resident and receive tax benefits.

"Among the leaders in 2022 on the volume of investments of the residents of the special economic zone of Moscow are the companies working in the field of microelectronics, as well as in medical technology, equipment and pharmaceuticals," - said the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky.

"Such results have been achieved also thanks to the support of the city. Residents of the capital SEZ receive considerable privileges, which allows them to direct the saved funds to their own development. So, they are for 10 years exempted from property, transport and land taxes, and the rate of profit tax for them is two percent", - noted the general director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev.

For example, one of the manufacturers of microelectronic components invested 13.9 billion rubles last year (NM-Tech), and the company Velfarm-M, whose plant was opened in early 2023, invested about 2.4 billion rubles.

"Such results have been achieved thanks to the support of the city, among other things. Residents of the capital SEZ receive significant benefits, which allows them to direct the saved funds to their own development. For example, they are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes for 10 years, and the profit tax rate for them is two percent", - said Gennady Degtev, General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

SEZ company Technopolis Moscow will start producing titanium implants

Production of implants for reconstructive traumatology and orthopedics will be localized by the Moscow company in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. Production of innovative products is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024. Within the framework of the project, the company intends to substitute 30% of the Russian market of titanium implants. This was reported by Vladimir Yefimov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

"On the site Alabushevo a new tenant of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow company Rusatom Implant will open production of its own materials and world-class medical products. The company plans to produce not less than 140 thousand titanium implants and the necessary surgical instruments for their installation, extraction and replacement annually. The registration procedure for innovative medical products is currently underway. The company plans to start production in the fourth quarter of 2024. The localization level of implant production will reach 90%," Vladimir Yefimov explained.

Today the domestic market of implants for restorative traumatology and orthopedics, neurosurgery, spinal and cranio-maxillofacial surgery is mainly represented by foreign products.

The company plans to produce plates for osteosynthesis of small, medium and large bone fragments, as well as intramedullary (localized in the substance of the bone marrow) pins for treatment of fractures of humerus, femur and tibia on the territory of Moscow SEZ.

"The total area of implant production at the Alabushevo site will be over 1.7 thousand square meters. As part of the project 83 jobs will be created. It is expected that the company's products will replace Western analogues in the field of reconstructive surgery, which will increase the availability of Russian high-tech medical care and its independence from market conditions, "- said the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Medical cluster of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow is represented by 23 enterprises. Here new productions are already put into operation, the supply of medicines and medical products to provide benefits to the citizens, as well as the needs of the capital's hospitals has started.

"The enterprise will be located in one of the innovative laboratory-industrial buildings (ILPK) of the Alabushevo site. All rooms in the building have a common purpose and can easily be adapted for office or production needs. This allows tenants to open the production of any complexity level in a short time without capital investments", - summed up the general director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev.

The company is a subsidiary of Rusatom MetalTech, a division integrator of Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL in the field of metallurgy, and was established as part of a project to bring medical products made of titanium and other promising medical materials to the Russian market.

"Creation of our own full cycle implantable products production - from material to finished product - is the largest investment project of Rusatom MetalTech to develop medical industry in Russia. The capacity of the enterprise will make it possible to cover 30% of the Russian healthcare market demand for competitive medical implants for orthopedics and traumatology and in future to fully replace imported medical devices in this segment. Implant production will be localized on the territory of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, which will enable to use the whole range of state support measures for implementation of this important for the country investment project," noted Andrey Andrianov, General Director of Rusatom MetalTech.

TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW RESIDENT WILL OPEN TWO RESEARCH CENTERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL MEDICINES

Resident of special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow will create two research centers (R&D-centers) to develop biological and chemical medicines by the end of 2023. The facilities with a total area of more than five thousand square meters will be opened on the basis of the largest biotechnological production in Russia.

Sputnik Technopolis plant received the status of a resident of the capital's SEZ in 2021 and is localized at the Pechatniki site. Today, 650 people work at the enterprise, the area of which reaches 20 thousand square meters. By the end of 2023 the company plans to launch two R&D centers within the production perimeter. They will develop original and import-substituting medical drugs for treatment of socially significant diseases. This will create an additional 120 jobs," said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

In one of the centers the drugs will be developed by chemical synthesis. The second center - the center of biotechnological products development - will create monoclonal antibodies (immune antibodies produced from one plasma cell). The latter will make a pilot site, which will allow reproducing the technologies previously developed by the company for the production of medicines. Then they will be scaled and transferred to the production facilities of the plant and other sites.

Residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow receive a number of tax benefits, as well as federal and city anti-crisis support. The total volume of investments in the plant implementation project at the time of construction exceeded 10 billion rubles, which allowed not only to build the buildings and put them into operation in record time, but also to promptly set up the production of medicines", - said the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky.

In the development and production of drugs the company is actively cooperating with the leading research centers of the country: the National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident increased the production of books and albums by almost 50 percent

In the first quarter of 2023 the digital printing house Fotoexpert - resident of a special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow - increased the production output by 50 percent. This happened due to the launch of new production lines and replacement of imported raw materials with domestic ones.

"The company's production capacity allows it to print more than one million photos and 10 thousand photo books a day. In the first quarter of 2023, the company increased production of books by almost 50 percent compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 140 thousand," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the capital's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

The company is also engaged in interior printing, actively introducing online services. Users can independently create designs and layouts of photo products using ready-made templates.

The main share of costs in digital printing technology falls on consumables, which are supplied by manufacturers of digital printing presses. To avoid dependence on foreign suppliers, the company replaced imported raw materials with domestic ones, the share of which has reached 95 percent. It also expanded its fleet of printing presses.

"Thanks to the modernization, the resident of the site Pechatniki SEZ Technopolis Moscow plans to increase up to 10 times the number of books produced, most of which are educational literature. Park upgrade became possible for the company also due to the localization of its production in the SEZ of Moscow, where the residents enjoy preferential tax and customs treatment, comfortable infrastructure and logistics, as well as the possibility of industrial cooperation with high-tech companies in various industries", - said General Director of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Gennady Dyogtev.

The company's digital storage is one of the largest in Russia. It has more than six petabytes of media data, including more than 900 million photos. For picture processing a neural network is used. Its own IT system manages all production processes and interacts with clients.

"The large-scale digitalization of one of the oldest technological processes such as book printing makes it possible to fulfill a wide variety of orders. The company has developed more than 70 ready-made templates for users' creativity and created more than 15 types of photo books for any event. Modernization of production and the transition to domestic raw materials provided the company is independent of market conditions, "- said executive director Ilya Novichkov.

The head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the developments of the enterprises of SEZ Technopolis Moscow

In 2022 the Fund to Promote Innovations rendered financial support to 3.7 thousand Russian high-tech projects. They received grants, among others, as part of the national project Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative, which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov. We are talking about science-intensive developments of students, young scientists and small businesses. It was declared by the Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov at session of the Supervisory board of Fund which has passed on a platform of a Special economic zone Technopolis Moscow.

"We stake, including on small innovative entrepreneurship. For the support of the sector we have created the Fund for Innovation Assistance. Last year, it supported more than 2 thousand projects of students and young innovators. It also supported over 1.5 thousand small companies, which is almost 20% more than a year before," the Minister noted.

More than a half of the supported projects are young scientists under the program UMNIK and Student Startup. The last one appeared in the Fund in 2022 and is realized within the framework of the federal project Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship, which is supervised by vice-premier Dmitry Chernyshenko. Students and postgraduate students can take part in it, whose projects are developed on the basis of their own scientific and technical and scientific-technological research and have commercialization potential. As of today 1 thousand winners were selected, each of whom received a grant in the amount of 1 million rubles, created their own enterprise and began testing their ideas in practice.

Under the most massive program, Start, the Foundation supported more than 600 projects. Not only legal entities may take part in it - a beginning entrepreneur may submit an application as an individual and create his own company after winning the contest. Over the last three years alone, the winners have created more than 3 thousand jobs and registered 1.8 thousand intellectual property objects.

"The Fund has financed companies with experience in selling knowledge-intensive products to the amount of 6 billion rubles. Thanks to grants under the program Commercialization they managed to expand production of innovative products, including for the tasks of big business. Hundreds of production facilities have been launched and modernized across the country, and thousands of jobs have been created. This measure of support is very popular, it allows to stimulate import substitution in almost all spheres and gives a huge economic effect," said Sergey Polyakov, General Director of the Foundation.

Grantees sell products in completely different areas: food industry, agricultural engineering, refrigeration equipment for large shopping centers, laser machines for metal cutting, CNC metal processing machines, unique medical equipment and much more.

As part of the national program Digital Economy of the Russian Federation, the Fund implements a number of support tools for two federal projects. Applicants can receive support at all stages: from the development of digital solutions and products in the field of artificial intelligence. This work has resulted in the creation of quite a large list of products, digital solutions that have successfully replaced products of Western companies that have left the market.

"About 20 projects of the enterprises of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow are currently supported by the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations. Thanks to this support, it was possible to expand the production infrastructure and create technological opportunities for the launch of a number of promising innovative products, a number of which have no domestic analogues in the Russian Federation. Among them - visual and audible system of orientation in space for the blind and visually impaired, intelligent platforms to automate the procedure of ordering parts and assess the parameters and recommendations for clothing on 3D-scans of consumers, medical equipment for emergency help, pharmaceuticals and more," - said the general director of Technopolis Moscow Gennady Dyogtev.

Also at the meeting was discussed the support of unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic component base. The Chairman of the Geoscan Group Alexey Semenov noted that his company was supported by the Fund at an early stage of development and has already paid 2 billion dollars in taxes, which repeatedly paid off the state support. Today it is one of the three world leaders in the field of drones, and the company's products are sold in more than 100 countries.

Speaking about the development of the radio electronics industry, Sergey Polyakov noted that over the past 9 years the Fund has financed 1.8 thousand companies to the amount of 3.3 billion rubles, while the total revenue of these companies exceeded 12 billion rubles. Given the importance of this industry, it was proposed at the meeting to consider launching a comprehensive program to restore and develop the technological independence of the domestic microelectronics industry by involving young scientists and small businesses in specific tasks. Oleg Mashinin, General Director of LLC "BUTIS", commenting the importance of the development of the microelectronic industry told that his company used the grant money to develop and put into series production a surface acoustic wave filter for GLONASS/GPS navigation systems, which has no analogues abroad. This improved the temperature stability by more than two times and allowed to solve the problem of suppression of the nearby interference from the satellite and other radio communication systems, which provided a cleaner spectrum of the output radio-frequency signal of the modern navigation and communication equipment. The results were confirmed by tests as part of navigation equipment manufactured by Russian enterprises. The development has been completed in 2022 and is planned to be used in Russian navigation systems.

The meeting of the Supervisory Board ended with the visit to the several enterprises which production is placed on the territory of the Special Economic Zone Technopolis Moscow. Maxim Reshetnikov was shown the products of the companies Biforkom Tech, which has the status of a Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident. The Moscow-based company was created in 2015 and produces a family of small form-factor computers, routers, antennas and other communication devices that are used to organize the work of remote offices, ATMs, to monitor and manage enterprise systems. These products are used by leading communication operators, energy and financial institutions. In 2023, the company launched its own production of 5G+ wireless routers.

Last week, the government approved the Technological Development Concept up to 2030. The document was developed on the instructions of the President Vladimir Putin, which he gave in September 2022 following a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. The main task of the Concept was outlined by the Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin - ensuring technological sovereignty through the introduction of cross-cutting and critical developments of domestic production into the economy.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development Maxim Kolesnikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Shpak, Director of the Department of Information Technology Industry Dmitry Nikitin, Director of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the Ministry of Education and Science Oleg Churilov and representatives of fast-growing high-tech companies also took part in the meeting.

Companies of SEZ Technopolis Moscow will take part in the contest of promising Russian brands

More than 10 companies of special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow have applied for participation in the All-Russian contest of promising Russian brands. The prize will be awarded to the best domestic producers who successfully substitute imported products. The final will be held on June 28-29 in the framework of the forum Strong Ideas for New Times, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

The project promotes the increase of domestic goods share in the domestic market and the achievement of technological sovereignty in critical industries. Its participants can be socially responsible entrepreneurs who demonstrate a steady growth rate, a high degree of production localization and quality. The competition was organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Roscongress Foundation in accordance with the instruction of the President of Russia to support and popularize Russian brands.

"Today on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow successfully develops several industry areas: microelectronics, photonics, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles, nanotechnology and new materials. Each area is represented by the largest players and leaders of the Russian market, who produce products with a localization level of up to 100 percent. For example, the developer of veterinary drugs Vetbiokhim successfully replaces imported analogues of vaccines for agricultural and domestic animals. The company's products, aimed primarily at preventing the most dangerous diseases in livestock, play an important role in ensuring the country's food security. Goods with the localization level of 95 percent are produced by the company Lassard, which opened its production in April at the site Pechatniki in SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The enterprise develops and manufactures equipment and laser systems that today are in demand almost in all industries. These and other companies from the Moscow SEZ have applied for the national contest of the national brands and they deserve to win," said Gennady Degtev.

More than 3,5 thousand applications from all over Russia have already been submitted for the contest. They have been divided into five categories, including Food, Consumer Goods, Creative Industries, Information Technology and High Technology.

The following Moscow SEZ companies will compete for the title of the best import-substituting industries:

- Nex-T (interactive equipment, localization - 80 percent);

- Velpharm (medications, localization - 60 percent);

- Hirana (medical equipment, localization - 70 percent);

- Vetbiohim (veterinary medicines, localization - 100 percent);

- Medplant (medical products, localization - 75 percent);

- Additive Engineering (3D products, technologies, localization - 100 percent);

- System Electric (electric power equipment and industrial automation, localization - 80 percent);

- Lassard (laser equipment, localization - 95 percent);

- Elvis (microelectronics, localization - 55 percent);

- Electroninvest (component base, localization - 100 percent);

- SEZ Technopolis Moscow (localization - 100 percent).

One of the conditions for participation in the competition is an active social position of the companies, which is the basis of the missions of the majority of enterprises of the Moscow SEZ. Volunteer team of System Electric enterprise worked with a branch of hospice Zelenograd, the center for animals The Road Home, shelter Krasnoye Selo, shelter for dogs Shcherbinka, park Losiny Ostrov, as well as a number of kindergartens in the Moscow region. The company Elvis assists Orthodox churches and organizes excursions for schoolchildren. Medplant, whose main corporate mission is to save the lives of the injured and wounded in the first minutes, supports the amateur soccer team Rapid-Medplant. Additive Engineering takes an active part in the Engineering Class in a Moscow School project.

"Residents of the capital's SEZ have actively embraced import substitution, as evidenced by their growth and the products they produce. In 2022, suppliers of high-tech products have not only replaced foreign developments with domestic counterparts, but also created unique inventions. Strengthening the brand will allow to strengthen the position and draw attention to domestic manufacturers", - said Gennady Degtev.

SEZ Technopolis Moscow is the territory with a special legal status, which has a preferential regime of entrepreneurial activity for investors. The area of the six sites (Pechatniki, Alabushevo, Micron, MIET, Angstrem, Rudnevo), where high-tech enterprises of SEZ are located, exceeds 260 hectares. Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident will start supplying smart inspection equipment

The Diagnostika-M company has developed and put into production a pilot version of an inspection unit with artificial intelligence. The new smart introscope resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow is able to recognize not only the outer contours, but also the inner content of the forbidden objects, as well as their individual fragments in disassembled form. This was reported by Vladilav Ovchinsky, the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital.

"The resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow has expanded its product line by integrating artificial intelligence into technologies already created and tested in the market, which has provided a fundamentally different level of their capabilities. The new smart introscope will be able to independently identify dangerous and prohibited items, which will simplify the work of inspection equipment operators and increase the level of public safety. The development has no analogues on the Russian market, and its localization level reaches 100 percent. As part of new projects, the company created 56 additional jobs," said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The inspection introscope is an X-ray television unit for scanning cargo and luggage for dangerous and prohibited items. The company equipped the conveyor-type introscopes of TC-SCAN series with artificial intelligence, which will be able to find dangerous and prohibited items in whole and in separate fragments, as well as recognize the contours of the object itself and its inner content. The device identifies the object and gives the operator the corresponding information on the monitor screen: the artificial intelligence highlights suspicious objects in a frame, denoting their name - a bottle, a spray bottle, a knife, and so on. A neural network on a sample of more than 5 million marked images is trained to recognize forbidden objects and their individual fragments in different angles.

Diagnostika-M company is a resident of the site Alabushevo SEZ "Technopolis Moscow since 2019. The company's products, which successfully replace their imported counterparts, are in high demand in the market, including through constant modernization and innovation. Diagnostika-M has been working on a project to integrate artificial intelligence into inspection scanners for more than three years, using its own developments and material resources. Only in 2022, the company invested more than 105 million rubles in its production," General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev specified.

Diagnostika-M implements smart technologies in its products, develops its own artificial intelligence systems and software, which is included in the Russian software base. Among the company's recent developments is the Radar-IQ territory protection system, capable of detecting and recognizing threats far beyond the perimeter of the protected object - both on the ground and in the air, including any type of UAV, using artificial intelligence.

Smart introscopes have already been tested at a number of sites, including the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and have confirmed all their claimed characteristics. Currently, the intelligent introscopes created by a resident of the Moscow SEZ guard the entrance to the Moscow Kremlin, the airport in Lipetsk and a number of other strategically important facilities in Russia.

"The artificial intelligence technology was developed by specialists of Diagnostika-M for the introscopes of the TC-SCAN series and is compatible only with the company's products. All new conveyor-type inspection units produced by the company have the ability to use this solution. Many customers are already interested in the new product, including those who already operate TC-SCAN units, but want to upgrade their software to a smart version. At the same time, the company's specialists do not stop there, but continue to refine the AI system, developing and improving its capabilities," explained the company's CEO Vladimir Usachev.

The plant, which will create at least 70 jobs, is located in the Rudnevo industrial park. The manufacturing company is a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow that gives it significant tax incentives: exemption from property, transport and land taxes for 10 years. The rate of profits tax for residents is only two per cent. In addition, they can rent land at a reduced rate.

Moscow manufacturer of medical equipment doubled its output thanks to the national project

The Moscow company Medplant, one of the leaders in the production of medical equipment in Russia, has doubled the production of tourniquet-type medical tourniquets thanks to its participation in the national project Productivity of Labor. This was reported by the Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow.

Within three months, the company's employees, together with the experts of the regional center of Moscow competence (ANO Mosstrategy) analyzed the production process at the pilot production line and eliminated the identified problems using lean production tools. Thus, the company implemented a system of efficient organization of workplaces, introduced production analysis and standards of work performance. This allowed reducing the time wasted by assemblers searching for the necessary tools and components by 50 percent. Besides, they reduced the quantity of semifinished products to be handed over at different stages of production, which allowed diminishing the amount of defects by almost 90%.

As a result, the company completed the first stage of implementation of the national project ahead of schedule, achieving its targets in three months instead of six. The production time of medical harnesses was reduced by 53 percent - from 56 to 26 hours, and the amount of products manufactured increased by 100 percent - from 250 to 500 pieces per person per shift. In addition, 13 employees of the plant have been trained in lean production methods and two internal trainers have been trained.

In the near future lean production tools, successfully implemented in the pilot stream, will be used in other areas of the plant. In particular, the company intends to optimize the manufacturing processes of medical kits for ambulance doctors. Participation in the national project will allow the company to increase labor productivity by at least five percent annually over the next three years.

The plant is a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow, it produces innovative and import-substituting products. The company manufactures products for equipping emergency medical services and disaster medicine, emergency services, as well as agencies that are required to provide first aid.

The National Project Productivity is a measure of state support of business, which allows increasing the volume of output and reducing production costs without additional costs. In Moscow the National Project has been implemented since the beginning of 2022. By the end of 2024, 491 companies will be able to take part in it.

Since 2022 the implementation of the national project in the capital is engaged in the Moscow regional center of competence (ANO Mosstrategy), subordinate to the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city. Applications for participation are accepted on the website of the operator of the national project in Russia with the obligatory indication of the region (the city of Moscow).
