Joint-Stock Company PROFOTEK was formed in December 2010 with the participation of JSC RUSNANO. During its existence, the company has come a long way: from the formation of a project team and the creation of the first industrial designs (2010), the launch of pilot production (2011), the start of pilot implementations (2012) to the creation of serial production, certification of the entire product line (2015) and, finally, the start of commercial sales (from 2016 to today).
PROFOTEK Company is a unique enterprise in Russian practice, which has its own know-how for the production of products and technology for the production of magnetically sensitive optical fiber, which is a key element of the manufactured products. A special optical fiber was developed by employees of the Fryazinsky branch of the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who subsequently joined the project team.
