Moscow composites discovered South America
Moscow Nanotechnology center of composites began deliveries of products to Peru in September 2019. This is the first country of the South American continent in which the company has established permanent sales.
There are fiberglass profile and carbon fiber among the export products of NCC. Profile South American partners plan to use in the construction of a variety of fences; fiber will be used as an additive to improve the properties of concrete.
"NCC is one of the oldest residents of the capital's special economic zone, which enjoys tax benefits and other measures of support of the Moscow Government. We are pleased that the company is expanding the geography of supplies. This creates a positive image abroad not only for the company as a manufacturer of high-quality products, but also for the city as a whole”, – said Alexander Prokhorov, the head Of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.
"Modern polymer materials are characterized by high strength and wear resistance in comparison with traditional building components, so their demand continues to grow. At the site of the capital SEZ, NCC carries out a full cycle of development and production of composite materials that are used in construction, transport, aircraft and other key sectors of the Russian economy”,-said Igor Ishchenko, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
Peru is not the first foreign partner of the NCC. The company's products are sold to India, Kuwait, Mexico, USA, Western Europe, Kazakhstan and Belarus. One of the flagship products of the NCC, carbonwrap external reinforcement system, was used in the repair of the largest overpasses in Belarus (Baranovichi-Polessky and Western bypass), as well as in the reconstruction of the largest shopping center Almaly in Kazakhstan.
