Prospects of cooperation between Russia and India in the field of innovation were discussed in the capital

Alice Maltseva, managing Director for external relations of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, took part in the meeting on cooperation in the field of high technologies between Russia and India. The event was chaired by Artem Shadrin, Director of the Department of strategic development and innovation of Russian Ministry of economic development. At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of innovation.

The meeting discussed mechanisms of Government support for cooperation with India and prospects for expanding public-private partnership. According to representatives of the Indian side, cooperation programs in the field of high technologies have been implemented with several countries. "We would like to implement such projects in Russia, especially since we have strong points for fruitful work. In particular, Russia has a very strong technical school, on the basis of which our specialists could study and improve their skills”, - highlighted the Indian participants of the meeting.

During the meeting, Indian colleagues highlighted the achievements of the Moscow SEZ in the field of training, in particular, the technical equipment and the work of the basic Department of the Moscow State Educational Complex.

Alice Maltseva said that Moscow SEZ regularly hosts delegations from India, with whom negotiations on partnership in innovation and education are held: "Special Economic Zone of Moscow has accumulated sufficient experience and positive examples in terms of training for high-tech industries. We hope that joint work with India on this issue will begin in the near future”.

According to Alice Maltseva, bilateral cooperation is also possible in terms of supporting high-tech companies in India to enter the Russian market.
