The index of industrial production increased by 8.7% in Moscow
Dynamics of development of the manufacturing sector of Moscow for January-February of 2019 have exceeded the national growth rate almost 3.5 times.
In Moscow, the volume of industrial production increased. This was stated by Vladimir Efimov, the Vice-mayor for economic policy and property and land relations. He cited data from Rosstat, reported the press service of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.
"In January-February 2019, the index of industrial production in the capital increased by 8.7% compared to the same period last year", - he said.
Efimov added that in 2019, the dynamics of the production sector in Moscow for January and February exceeded the all-Russian growth rate by almost 3.5 times. The largest growth of the industrial production index in the capital was recorded in February 2019 and amounted to 24.3% compared to January.
According to Alexander Prokhorov, the head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow, 44 enterprises of Moscow are in the status of industrial complexes today. They are provided with a 50% reduction in the property tax rate. In addition, the capital's industrial complexes pay a reduced income tax: 12.5% instead of 17%.
As reported by IA REGNUM, in 2018 the most positive dynamics reached the production of electrical equipment, chemicals and vehicles. In these areas, the increase was 121, 23 and 18 percent, respectively.
