Every third potential investor in Moscow comes from abroad
Every day, the investment portal of the capital is visited by more than 7 thousand unique users
Foreign investors now make up almost a third of those interested in investing in Moscow's economy on the Investment portal. This was reported by the head of the capital's Department of investment and industrial policy (DIPP) Alexander Prokhorov at a press conference in TASS.
"Currently, we see about 30% of appeals from foreign markets at Investportal. Every third potential investor is a foreigner. With all investors, we are ready to work out all their requests, accept them at the sites of Moscow and work out some investment requests related to the localization of production", - Prokhorov said.
He explained that now the main channel for receiving such appeals is the investment portal of Moscow, which has been operating since 2014. The site is actually a "single window" for Moscow investors, both foreign and Russian, including companies registered in Moscow, said Prokhorov.
The portal now works, in addition to Russian, in five languages (English, German, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic), he added. Prokhorov also assured that any foreign investor will be provided with a personal Manager who "in all authorities will deal with him negotiating, signing papers". "We will provide full service", - the head of the Department assured.
According to the Agency, the site has been visited more than 6 million times since 2014. Every day it comes to more than 7 thousand unique visitors. More than 20 thousand entrepreneurs are registered in the "User's personal account".
