THE FIRST AID TRAINING CENTER WILL BE OPENED AT THE SITE OF THE SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW

The first aid training center will be opened in 2022 on the capital's SEZ site in Pechatniki. About 500 people are going to study here annually. It was stated by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs.

"A pharmaceutical medical cluster here includes about 20 residents - who manufacture pharmaceuticals, medical products, and equipment. They have invested more than 17 billion roubles in their projects and created over one thousand jobs. A resident specializing in the production of medical devices proposed to create a training center for first aid. The opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022. About 500 students will study here annually, and at the end of the course everyone will get a certificate," Vladimir Efimov said.

Medplant is a legendary orange first aid kit, an emergency medical equipment stowage manufacturer. The company has been operating on the SEZ Technopolis Moscow site since 2014, and it has a status of a resident since 2018. This status gives special support measures. For instance, companies are exempt from paying property, transport, land tax, customs duties. Their income tax rate is 2% only. There are also benefits for the land lease allocated for the enterprise building. And as the construction is finished, it is possible to redeem the leased land for 1% of its cadastral value.

"During 10 months in 2021, the company has produced about five thousand high-tech products for emergency medicine, including syringe dispensers, pulse oximeters, thermal containers, indicators of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The resident has equipped ambulances all over the country over the years - about 25 thousand cars, and regularly upgrades equipment for them," said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow.

The SEZ resident expanded the occupied office space, especially for training center organizing. The company currently equips the space with special equipment - training equipment, simulators, first aid equipment, and prepares visual aids and video materials as well.

Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, said that the classes will have small groups of up to ten people both in the evening and on weekends. The event organizers expect representatives of resident companies to be the first participants. They will be provided with preferential training conditions. At the same time, everyone will be able to go through the training. It will take  a few days.
