A new tenant of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow - the company Mesoformula, will invest more than 170 million rubles in the production of drugs for professional and medical cosmetology as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow.

“The plant for cosmetic products will be built on the site of the SEZ in Pechatniki and will occupy an area of more than 1.5 thousand square meters. It is planned that by 2024 the company will invest over 170 million rubles in the project and create about 50 highly qualified jobs. The launch of the enterprise is scheduled for the third quarter of 2022. The plant construction project is aimed at import substitution and production of competitive drugs both in the Russian and foreign markets”, said the Head of the Department.

The company received the status of a resident of the special economic zone of Moscow in March 2021. Among the products of the new resident are injections for mesotherapy and biorevitalization.

“Research and development as well as international certificates of the company have already enabled it to export products to the countries of the Middle East and CIS: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. Having gained access to tax and customs incentives, the company will be able to increase production efficiency and strengthen its competitive position, while cooperation with other participants in the Moscow SEZ will optimize production processes to the maximum”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

According to Nadezhda Kapleva, CEO of Mesoformula, the project in SEZ Technopolis Moscow makes it possible to create a modern production site and laboratory.

“The enterprise will reach 85% of production localization, improve the quality of products, increase the volume and satisfy the needs of consumers. Expanded capacities will allow more export work”, she added.
