A TENANT OF SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW SETS UP UTILITIES AT THE NEW MOSCOW-CITY TOWER
At the end of August European
Electronics Ltd., a resident company of the special economic zone Technopolis
Moscow launches the production of utilities for a new skyscraper in Moscow-City
– Grand Tower.
“Since March European Electronics has create 30 new jobs and invested in the
production development over 30 million Rubles. Now the investment project for the
production of high-tech low-voltage packages is 75% executed. The resident has
already received the first order to manufacture utilities for a new skyscraper
in Moscow-City – Grand Tower with a total area of 400 thousand square meters
and 283 meters high. The order is going to be shared with the global company Schneider
Electric – another enterprise located in the special economic zone Technopolis
Moscow. A large batch of distributing switchboards and input switching devices
will be produced especially for the project”, said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the
Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.
According to Gennady Degtev, CEO
of SEZ Technopolis Moscow the location of enterprises in the special economic
zone of the capital makes it possible to expand their capabilities and not only
find metropolitan customers, but also cooperate with each other. “Products of
innovative manufacturers are still highly demanded in the market. For example,
the company Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica Group of Companies gained the status of resident of SEZ Technopolis
Moscow in March, 2020 and will soon complete the construction at the
enterprise. The first products will appear before the end of June 2020, and the
site will reach full capacity in August this year. In addition, the company
gets the opportunity to actively interact with other high-tech enterprises in
the capital’s SEZ,” he said.
The pandemic spurred the
demand for digitalization of business processes, increased the interest of
customers in creating advanced infrastructure in enterprises, shared Andrey
Smirnov, deputy CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica.
“Based on the positive
dynamics of concluding new contracts for the supply of the utilities during
March-June 2020, we see that projects in which Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica group
of companies is involved are not canceled. Customers adapt their investment
plans to a new reality. In general, the situation is gradually normalizing, the
volume of demand indicates the demand for the new production site we are
creating”, added Andrey Smirnov.
